Mission Statement.

I love bringing therapies that are individualized and nurturing to the body, relieve emotional stress and bring us back to a deeper love of life and ourselves. My skills are specialized ways to ‘listen’ to the needs of others and help them to restore a healing response.
My aim is to help people face life challenges, help them delete their mental junk mail, install a new approach that brings a new vista to their human experience. Therefore each plan of therapy involves a nurturing structure as well as the joy of spontaneous discovery.
The key to my practice is that I offer a unique blend of individualized treatment as a Medical and Spiritual Intuitive, as an experienced Nurse, and Oriental Medicine practitioner. Also, because of my own transformative Spiritual experiences I offer a unique perspective and help with stages of personal growth. While I always valued technical skills of healing, I’ve seen that holistic healing leads to excellent results by helping a person tap into their inner healing ability, and hypnotherapy often is the turning point that sustains an ongoing improvement in health and outlook. When the wisdom of the body and the Soul are functioning in a state of harmony you have happiness and more resilient health. Spiritual essence is the key to a creative state that builds a loving framework for the mind, emotions, and body to heal.

Bio

I have a strong background in technical skills of physical medicine and nursing based on knowledge of anatomy and physiology and lifelong development in subtle energy fields,( skills in subtle energy medicine as well).
I bring a diverse set of experiences as a Holistic Healer, Nurse, Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, and Hypnotherapist. At an early age I was aware of some kind of energy transference or healing touch with people or animals, this was later formalized with training in Therapeutic Touch and Oriental Medicine. I learned self-hypnosis as a young adult and consider it an essential part of health education rather than leaving the content and processing in your subconscious to random chance.
I’ve been a Registered Nurse since 1975 and worked for 13 years in Critical Care and about 5 years in home care with medically intensive kids and adults. I’ve been a Masseuse since 1983 and have trained in sports massage, oriental massage and shiatsu. Later I took the complete course of craniosacral and visceral massage from the Upledger Institute and utilize that regularly in sessions to accelerate the healing process. I’ve been completely delighted with my training and application of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (graduated 1989) which has a long history of holistic orientation in recognizing the knowable reality of Life Energy. I like the respect for Life Energy in Oriental Medicine, and it’s striving to harmonize and refine the practitioners awareness of it’s cycles and preservation in the quality and extension of human life.
I completed my holistic curriculum at the Powers Institute of Professional Hypnosis in 1990, which provided me an excellent basis in the integration of healing principles with the core Self.
Interest in integrating modern medicine technology and multi-cultural learning led me to complete a Medical Degree (2001) from St.Luke’s School of Medicine, Ghana. I don’t practice medicine in the U.S., however I utilize my knowledge in the area of patient advocacy to seek appropriate medical care.
My intuitive development has occurred from 34 years as a healer with a commitment to harmonize with my Spiritual essence and provide a Haven for others. I discovered through my Spiritual experiences that what we call the unconscious is actually in touch with multiple dimensions of awareness and the conscious mind is the least ‘knowing’. In that much of the tragedy and comedy of life is expressed. A sense of humor is often my stamina.
What is fun and inspiring for me is writing songs to sing, painting luminescent art, dancing, and helping children grow with a sense of their value.
